Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x8 Nights at a leading Hospital in Wilmington, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE • Maintain current BLS and ARRT certifications • Work with various patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Attend hospital orientation during the first week with availability for daily classes • Report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters as part of Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team • Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill sets • Comply with facility dress code requirements including royal blue scrubs • Adhere to facility policies including fatigue policy restrictions • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact license) • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references from within the past 12 months • Complete non-billable training modules and report time spent accordingly • Work assigned shift schedule of Tuesday through Friday 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
