Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - CVOR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Mason City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Work 5x8 hour shifts in the CVOR specialty as a Registered Nurse
• Handle 10-12 days of call per month
• Complete required Trinity-specific training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete comprehensive skills checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo and maintain current fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete required background checks and security clearances
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Maintain system access credentials and complete required security training
• Complete mandatory drug screening and health assessments
• Provide cardiovascular operating room nursing care and support
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled
• Complete annual competency evaluations and continuing education requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
