Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Mason City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Work night shifts on a 7 on/7 off schedule from 8p-7a (Friday & Saturday 8p-8a)
• Complete required Trinity training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Submit to drug screening and maintain required health clearances
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain current professional licensure and certification verification
• Complete mandatory immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Undergo tuberculosis testing (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and testing requirements
• Complete color vision testing and physical/health statement
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete system access forms and security agreements
• Participate in integrity and audit services processes
• Complete required documentation and profile submissions
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
