Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - IMC to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in Intermediate Care unit during night shift 7p-7:30a • Maintain current RN licensure and certification • Complete license/certificate verification requirements • Submit to fit testing and health screening requirements • Pass required drug screening panel • Complete mandatory code of conduct and confidentiality agreements • Undergo specialty-specific competency testing • Complete skills checklist assessment • Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap • Complete annual influenza vaccination as required • Submit to criminal background check and exclusion list screening • Complete education verification process • Maintain professional liability insurance coverage • Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation • Participate in color vision testing as required • Complete tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing • Submit required health statement and physical examination • Work every other weekend as part of EOW commitment • Complete all onboarding documentation and system access requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
