Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer - Sonographer to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sonographic examinations and imaging procedures during evening shifts Monday through Friday from 1530-0000
• Maintain current professional licensure and certification as a Sonographer
• Complete required onboarding documentation including profile, conflict of interest disclosure, and system access forms
• Undergo criminal background check and compliance with exclusion list screenings
• Complete mandatory health requirements including vaccinations, TB screening, physical examination, and drug screening
• Participate in specialty-specific competency testing and skills assessment
• Complete required training modules and maintain continuing education requirements
• Adhere to code of conduct and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Utilize facility-specific systems and technology for documentation and communication
• Comply with facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete annual influenza vaccination or exemption process as applicable
• Participate in fit testing and color vision screening as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
