Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services as a certified Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Maintain current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credentials
• Utilize Cerner charting system for patient documentation
• Work every other weekend (EOW) as scheduled
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training during onboarding
• Complete Trinity IA Sing Report requirements during onboarding
• Complete Trinity OFAC compliance training during onboarding
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist assessment during onboarding
• Provide license and certificate verification for credentialing
• Complete required fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form acknowledgment
• Complete Trinity I9 employment verification documentation
• Complete Trinity Confidentiality of Patient & Property Information & System Security Agreement
• Complete Trinity Integrity and Audit Services Form
• Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Complete Trinity Color Vision assessment
• Complete Trinity PowerPoint training modules
• Maintain valid state licensure and provide verification as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
