Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Stepdown to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Davenport, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Stepdown specialty unit
• Work night or mid shifts with every other weekend (EOW) schedule
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain current RN license and complete license verification
• Complete fit testing and maintain personal health requirements
• Pass Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen and color vision testing
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form and Integrity/Audit Services Form
• Complete I-9 verification and confidentiality agreements for patient information
• Complete Trinity Joint Commission Testing and system access requirements
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete OFAC, EPLS, and GSA/OIG screening requirements
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete annual physical/health statement requirements
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and NSO requirements
• Respond to COVID-19 specific questionnaire and health screening
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
