Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and examinations • Operate nuclear medicine equipment and imaging systems • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols • Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training • Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing • Maintain current Nuclear Medical Technician certification • Complete Trinity Joint Commission Testing requirements • Undergo color vision testing and maintain visual standards • Complete required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccines • Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing • Pass comprehensive physical/health statement evaluation • Complete criminal background check and maintain clean record • Complete education verification requirements • Maintain compliance with Trinity Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements • Complete drug screening and fit testing as required • Submit to OFAC, EPLS, and GSA/OIG screening processes • Complete Trinity Profile submission requirements • Maintain professional liability insurance coverage • Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation • Adhere to all Trinity system policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
