- Minimum 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience required
- Strong PICU or Adult ICU experience required
- Trauma experience required
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- BLS
- CRT
- ACLS (preferred)
- NRP (preferred)
- PALS (preferred)
- RRT (preferred)
Skills Required
- Adult Critical Care
- Aerosol setup (mask and trach)
- Assisting in high-risk delivery
- Using BiPAP and CPAP
- Extubation
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- High frequency jet ventilator
- Inhaled Flolan
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Nasal airway placement and suctioning
- Oral airway placement and suctioning
- Tracheostomy care/management
- Troubleshooting high pressure alarms
- Weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Using Draeger and Servo I ventilators
- Experience with Puritan Bennett ventilators (preferred)
