Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- Valid Alaska LPN license must be in hand
- BLS
- Alaska Food Worker Certification (to be obtained during orientation)

- Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower
- Blood glucose monitoring/testing
- Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD
- Administering ear drops
- Administering eye drops
- Using face masks
- Feeding tube care and management
- Foley catheter insertion (female and male)
- Injection (IM & SQ)
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Mouth care
- Nasal cannula usage
- NG Tube/G Tube care
- Oral oxygen administration
- Rehabilitation
- Vital sign monitoring
Desired Skills
- Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience preferred
- Experience with phlebotomy lab draws
- Experience with respiratory treatments (nebulizers)
- Experience with wound care
- Experience with peritoneal dialysis (subcutaneous only)
- Experience with IV hydration as needed
- Experience with implanted glucose sensors and Peg Tube (G-tube) feedings
