Experience
- Minimum 1 year LTC experience required
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- Active CNA license in another state (if applying with a pending AK CNA license)
- BLS
- Alaska Food Worker Certification (to be obtained during orientation)
- Documentation of submitted Alaska CNA license application

- Isolation precautions and PPE
- Patient mouth care
- Obtaining and monitoring blood pressure (including orthostatic)
- Obtaining patient respirations, pulse (radial), and temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, tympanic)
- Managing oxygen tanks
- Providing male/female perineal care
- Pressure injury prevention
- Monitoring pulse oximetry
- Reporting changes in patient condition
- Safe patient transfers
- Personal hygiene (shaving, shower assistance)
- Skin care
- Urine/stool incontinence care
