- Obtaining patient respirations
- Obtaining pulse (radial)
- Obtaining temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, tympanic)
- Understanding abnormal/normal vital sign parameters (Adult and Pediatric)
- Safe patient transfers
- Reporting changes in patient condition
