Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience required
- Must have experience with spine and total joint procedures
- Scrubbing experience required
- Inpatient experience required
- Previous experience with general, orthopedic, spine, and urology cases required
License & Certification Required
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
- BLS
- Either NBSTSA or NCCT certification is acceptable
- Valid CA license must be in hand
Skills Required
- Proficient in handling Da Vinci Xi surgical system
- Experience with surgical procedures such as abdominal hysterectomy, C-sections, and spinal fusion
- Knowledge of sterilization and disinfection processes
- Aseptic technique knowledge
- Ability to handle various surgical instruments and equipment
Desired Skills
- Experience with outpatient surgery
- Preferred experience with ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, and ENT cases
- SPD experience preferred
- Charting experience with EPIC preferred
