Experience
- Minimum 1 year of ER Tech experience required
- 6-12 months of ER experience required if currently an EMT
- Recent work history within the last 3-6 months required

- Experience with ADLs
- Phlebotomy
- Understanding of abnormal/normal vital sign parameters
- Ability to report abnormal findings
- Assisting with bedside procedures
- Postmortem care
- Use of restraints
- Labeling specimens and transport
- Performing EKGs
- Behavioral health de-escalation
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- EPIC experience required
Desired Skills
- Experience managing behavioral emergencies
- Assisting with ambulation
- Assisting with feeding patients
- Reporting change in patient condition across all age groups (Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult)
