Compensation
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2772.48
- Weekly Taxable Amount: $1000.0
- Weekly Stipend/Non Taxable Amount: $1772.48
You must be duplicating expenses to receive stipends. If you are driving versus relocating, we will instead offer mileage reimbursements. Rates assume Travel. Locals within 50 miles may have a rate adjustment.

Experience
- Minimum 2 years acute medical Care Manager experience performing Care Coordination required
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- California state license required (pending license accepted, must be licensed upon start date)
Skills Required
- Experience with assessing patients
- Care coordination
- Discharge planning
- Familiarity with HMOs, IPAs, etc.
- Knowledge of adoption/foster care processes
- Understanding of drug/alcohol abuse treatment options
- Experience working with patients experiencing homelessness
- Experience with patients with mental health history or in crisis
- Knowledge of advance directives and POLST
- Competence in arranging DME, SNF, and ambulance transport independently
- Epic EMR experience
Desired Skills
- Experience in a trauma Level I or II setting preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines
- Experience with CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
- Experience with Disability case management
- Experience with disease management
- Experience with DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups)
- Experience in Surgical Services
- Familiarity with The Joint Commission/Core Measure/National Safety Goals
- Experience with worker’s comp case management
Requirements
- Current Resume with up to 7 year work history, with gaps explained - position, unit, job type, city, state must be indentified for each assignment
- Negative TB Test (Within 12 Months)
- Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella
- Current - Tdap/Flu Vaccinations
- Must be able to pass pre-employment, background and drug screening
