Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Mission Hills, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology technician duties during 5p-7a weekday shifts
• Provide on-call coverage 5-6 days every two weeks
• Respond to call-backs within 30 minutes
• Work 24-hour call shifts on weekends
• Maintain current CA state license
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float between all facilities within the state as required
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Complete compliance documentation and background requirements
• Obtain LA fire card within 30 days of assignment
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
