Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician - OB/GYN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 24Hrs Any at a leading Hospital in Lansing, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services
• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic patient care
• Respond to emergency obstetric and gynecologic situations during call shifts
• Perform deliveries and obstetric procedures as required
• Conduct gynecologic examinations and procedures
• Collaborate with hospital nursing staff and support personnel
• Document patient care activities in electronic health record system
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care team meetings
• Maintain current board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
• Clock in and out using designated time tracking system
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Work scheduled weekend shifts as required
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Ensure compliance with all credentialing requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
