Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OB/GYN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Bad Axe, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice
• Follow hospital policies and procedures
• Implement nursing process guidelines
• Adhere to established standards of care and standards of practice
• Provide specialized OB/GYN nursing care
• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Participate in on-call duties as required
• Work weekends as scheduled
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Maintain AWHONN certification
• Maintain NRP certification
• Maintain valid Michigan state nursing license
• Utilize minimum 1+ year of OBGYN nursing experience
• Meet 36-hour weekly guarantee requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
