Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Outpatient to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 days at a leading Hospital in Bad Axe, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to patients who have undergone surgery, suffered injuries, are recovering from serious illness, or coping with chronic conditions
• Help reduce patient pain and restore function and independence through therapeutic interventions
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach combining exercise, strength training, manual therapy, and modalities
• Develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients based on physician prescriptions
• Work one-on-one with patients following specific plans of care
• Help patients return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible
• Provide care for swing bed, acute, and outpatient populations
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Maintain valid Michigan PT license
• Complete skills checklist assessments as required
• Be available for on-call duties one Saturday per month
• Work scheduled shifts including varying daily schedules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
