Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Outpatient to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 days at a leading Hospital in Bad Axe, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients • Work with patients who have undergone surgery, suffered injuries, are recovering from serious illness, or coping with chronic conditions • Use multidisciplinary approach combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities • Develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients based on physician prescriptions • Work one-on-one with patients following specific plans of care • Help patients return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible • Provide swing bed, acute and outpatient PT services • Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification • Maintain valid Michigan PT License • Complete on call duties one Saturday per month • Work varied shift schedules including days 8 hours Tuesday-Friday 7:30 am - 6 pm or Monday & Wednesday 8 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 9:30 am - 6 pm • Complete skills checklist within one year of application • Provide license verification documentation as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
