Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Conduct left heart catheterization and right heart catheterization procedures
• Assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
• Support cardiac stent placement and balloon angioplasty procedures
• Assist with electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation and cardiac mapping
• Perform arrhythmia induction and conduction studies
• Support pacemaker insertion and programming of AICDs
• Assist with cardioversion and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Support transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures
• Assist with left atrial appendage (LAA) closure procedures
• Perform thrombectomy and coil embolization procedures
• Conduct accurate monitoring and baseline measurements
• Perform EKG lead placement and 12 Lead EKG
• Interpret dysrhythmias and provide electrophysiology evaluation
• Maintain sterile field and scrub techniques
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation
• Operate cardiac catheterization lab equipment including GE System and Mac lab hemodynamic documentation
• Float to outpatient catheterization lab for procedures as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle daily census of 3-5 patients
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Complete required modules and training programs during orientation
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications
• Provide two professional references as required
• Complete compliance documentation within specified timeframes
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
