Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Lansing, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures
• Conduct angiography imaging and procedures
• Assist with peripheral angioplasty procedures with or without stent placement
• Support venography procedures
• Assist with cardiac pacemaker insertions
• Perform various non-vascular interventional procedures
• Provide services for both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Maintain current ARRT or RCIS certification
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Work scheduled shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Participate in on-call rotation with 1 call shift per week
• Cover 1 weekend call shift per month
• Utilize cardiovascular and interventional laboratory equipment safely and effectively
• Provide technical support during cardiovascular procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Document procedures and patient information accurately
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
