Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction • Operate Siemens and GE scanners (S3000 and Sequoia models) • Provide imaging services in emergency department for routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and level 2 trauma patients • Handle daily caseload of 8-12 patients per 8-hour shift in fast-paced environment • Work with patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Perform IV starts and venipuncture procedures • Utilize Epic charting system and Visage for documentation and image management • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT(R)(CT) credentials • Complete required orientation hours and ongoing training modules • Work weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 19:45 to 08:15 • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper isolation precautions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in emergency department setting • Complete region of interest measurements and other imaging analysis tasks • Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures • Work independently during night shifts with minimal staffing coverage
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
