Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Salisbury, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist providers while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures
• Maintain sterile field during procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures
• Perform accurate monitoring throughout procedures
• Execute EKG lead placement
• Participate in STEMI procedures
• Perform ablations and nephograms
• Assist with carotid stenting procedures
• Support catheter/drain exchange procedures
• Participate in diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with internal/external biliary drainage
• Support left and right heart catheterization procedures
• Participate in mesenteric angiogram procedures
• Assist with paracentesis procedures
• Support percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram procedures
• Participate in renal artery stent placement
• Assist with stent placement procedures
• Support thoracentesis procedures
• Participate in ureteral stent placement
• Assist with kyphoplasties and biopsies
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Maintain valid ARRT or RCIS certification
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Work 8-hour day shifts from 07:30 to 16:00
• Fulfill minimum 7 call days per month requirement
• Respond to urgent/emergent procedures with 30-minute callback time for STEMIs
• Work every third weekend
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Complete 40-80 hours of unit orientation
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively as part of three-member call team including one RN
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
