Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Lubbock, TX. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography examinations averaging 10 exams per shift
• Conduct 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, and Color Doppler imaging procedures
• Perform specialized echo procedures including Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Bubble Study, and Stress Echo
• Operate various ultrasound equipment including GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and Toshiba systems
• Provide echocardiography services for adult and geriatric patients
• Work in multiple settings including Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU
• Maintain current BLS, ARDMS, and CCI RCS certifications
• Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation
• Float between sister facilities as required
• Work on-call shifts as needed
• Work weekends as needed, including 12 weekend shifts per contract
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Maintain valid state licensure with compact license
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Comply with facility dress code requirements
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in TX
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
