Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing facility
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
• Assist nursing staff with medication administration and treatment procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Ensure patient safety and dignity while providing compassionate care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Assist with patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
• Support patients with meal assistance and nutrition monitoring
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests for assistance
• Participate in care planning meetings and report observations to nursing staff
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Complete required training and continuing education programs
• Work collaboratively as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ME
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
