Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Mount Clemens, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist surgeons during general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving procedures
• Monitor surgical procedures and patient health and safety during entire operations
• Work as part of dedicated medical staff team including anesthesiologists and technicians
• Provide nursing care across various surgical specialties
• Perform endoscopy procedures with proficiency
• Maintain ACLS certification
• Work full-time schedule of 40 hours guaranteed
• Work 1 day per week on-call duties which may fall on weekends
• Work day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Maintain valid Michigan nursing license
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Provide license verification through LARA and Nursys systems
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
