Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Mount Clemens, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist surgeons during general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving procedures
• Monitor surgical procedures and patient health and safety throughout entire operations
• Work as part of dedicated medical team including anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and technicians
• Provide nursing care across various surgical specialties
• Perform endoscopy procedures with proficiency
• Work full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Take on-call responsibilities including 1 day per week
• Work weekends as needed for on-call coverage
• Maintain current Michigan nursing license
• Maintain ACLS certification (preferred)
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Provide 2+ years of relevant nursing experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
