Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Tele to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 nights at a leading Hospital in Mount Clemens, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process
• Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
• Carry out functions according to hospital policy, hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines
• Direct, coordinate and delegate activities to foster patient/family centered care
• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs
• Make appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development
• Float to tele units (CSU, 3 South, 4 South) and Med Surg units (3 West, 4 West and IPR)
• Work nights 12-hour shifts with 3/12's schedule and 36-hour guarantee
• Work every other weekend
• Work required holidays
• Maintain BLS certification
• Maintain valid Michigan nursing license
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Adhere to strict 3 strike attendance policy
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
