Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Everett, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services across 2 ICUs, trauma care, and all acute care units including general medical/tele, nephrology, oncology, general surgery, ortho, and neuro • Manage caseload of 15-20 patients with goal of treating 5-6 patients daily through triaging process • Participate in daily patient progression rounds on most acute care units and twice weekly in ICUs • Conduct functional ADL and cognitive assessments including Pillbox test, Allen, SLUMS, and CAM assessments • Provide skilled interventions to support discharge recommendations and patient progression • Collaborate with 3 COTAs on staff as part of interdisciplinary team approach • Maintain current BLS certification and valid WA OT license • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient care coordination • Float between various like units within skill set as required • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Adhere to facility dress code requirements (any scrubs except reddish orange) • Complete required compliance documentation and background requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
