Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Everett, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services in pediatric outpatient clinic setting
• Maintain current BLS certification and NBCOT certification
• Maintain valid WA OT License
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float between various like units within skill set as needed
• Provide occupational therapy services for pediatric and adolescent patients
• Perform activities of daily living assessments and interventions
• Conduct evaluations and develop plans of care
• Provide patient and family education
• Implement sensory integration testing and treatment
• Conduct visual perceptual skills testing and treatment
• Develop and implement sensory diet programs
• Provide feeding therapy interventions
• Work with patients with autism, cerebral palsy, and learning disabilities
• Implement neurodevelopmental treatment techniques
• Focus on safety and injury prevention
• Provide early intervention services
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Work with interdisciplinary support including social services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
