Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and ensure organizational compliance
• Manage staff to meet organizational goals and objectives
• Set and optimize operational procedures and workflows
• Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
• Monitor performance metrics and operational outcomes
• Improve business efficiency and department functionality
• Ensure smooth and safe functioning of surgical departments
• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff
• Float to affiliate facilities as needed
• Respond to rare emergency calls or weekend coverage when required
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Maintain valid Michigan state nursing license
• Utilize circulator experience in perioperative settings
• Apply leadership experience in OR, PACU, or Pre/Post-Op Ambulatory Surgery environments
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
