Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures • Conduct peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures • Assist with permanent pacemaker insertions • Maintain current ARRT certification and California Fluoro Permit • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Provide accurate hemodynamic monitoring during procedures • Perform equipment setup and maintain sterile field when scrubbing • Maintain and stock procedural equipment and supplies • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Take call up to 4 days per week as required • Work up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete 30 hours of facility orientation • Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Self-report time spent on training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery • Handle daily caseload of 8-12 procedures • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Maintain valid state licensure and certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
