Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform Cath Lab procedures including coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures • Conduct peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures • Assist with permanent pacemaker insertions • Operate fluoroscopy equipment during procedures • Maintain accurate hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures • Set up and maintain specialized cardiac catheterization equipment • Maintain sterile field and scrub for procedures when required • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations on adult patients • Assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and angioplasty procedures • Support cardiac stent placement procedures • Maintain and stock procedure room supplies and inventory • Document procedures using Epic charting system • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Maintain current ARRT certification and California Fluoro Permit • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Provide on-call coverage up to 4 days per week as needed • Work up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Complete required compliance documentation and training • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Handle daily caseload of 8-12 procedures • Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
