Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Evenings at a leading Hospital in Davenport, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures and technical operations
• Work mid shift hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Complete every other weekend (EOW) shift requirements
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required competency testing and skills assessments
• Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols
• Maintain current immunization requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete mandatory training modules including Joint Commission requirements
• Undergo required background checks and security clearances
• Complete facility-specific orientation and training programs
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Pass required drug screening and physical health assessments
• Complete color vision testing requirements
• Participate in ongoing education and competency verification
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
