Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit during 07:00 PM-07:30 AM shifts
• Maintain valid nursing license and complete license verification
• Complete specialty specific competency testing
• Perform skills checklist requirements
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Maintain current health requirements including vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Pass color vision testing and fit testing
• Complete physical/health statement requirements
• Undergo criminal background check and maintain clean record
• Complete education verification process
• Pass 10 panel drug screening
• Complete motor vehicle report verification
• Sign patient privacy and system security agreements
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Comply with EPLS and GSA/OIG requirements
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Complete system access forms and security protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
