Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading SNF in Camden, ME. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care services as a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing facility • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility • Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations • Assist with feeding and nutrition support for residents • Maintain patient dignity and provide compassionate care • Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures • Document patient care activities and observations accurately • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare team members • Assist with transfers and positioning of patients • Support patients with personal hygiene and grooming needs • Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly • Maintain clean and organized patient care areas • Follow facility policies and procedures for resident care • Participate in care plan meetings and updates as needed • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ME
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
