Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Missoula, MT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations across three different hospital areas including inpatient, ER, vascular, procedures, outpatients (including breast ultrasound), and OB • Rotate through each ultrasound area as assigned • Conduct various ultrasound procedures including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, and breast imaging • Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies and fine needle aspirations • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Provide on-call coverage 1-2 nights per week • Work occasional weekend shifts as scheduled • Maintain current BLS certification and required specialty certifications (ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, ARDMS OB/GYN, RDCS-RVT) • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Handle daily census of 8-10 patients • Operate portable ultrasound equipment when required • Comply with facility policies and dress code requirements • Float within the facility as needed • Complete compliance documentation by deadline • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
