Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Missoula, MT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, angioplasty, and embolization • Maintain sterile field and scrub for procedures as needed • Operate as room circulator during interventional procedures • Manage patient care with 1:1 ratios during procedures • Access and manage ports, central venous lines, and PICC lines • Assist with catheter and drain exchanges • Perform fluoroscopy and utilize PACS system • Prep access sites for procedures • Assist with stent placements and thrombolysis procedures • Float between IR and DEXA units as required • Provide on-call coverage at least 1 night per week and every 4th weekend • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Maintain current ARRT R, BLS, and state licensure certifications • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide care to patients across all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Adhere to isolation precautions when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Complete compliance documentation by Monday prior to start date
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
