Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Waterloo, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Take call on weekends and weekdays, same schedule as full-time staff
• Work couples days per week with every third weekend rotation
• Participate in holiday rotation schedule
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Maintain current nursing licensure and certifications
• Complete mandatory health screenings and vaccinations
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Complete skills checklist assessments
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete mandatory training programs and educational requirements
• Work scheduled shifts from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM
• Comply with background check and verification requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
