Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide radiologic technologist services in the cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
• Maintain current RT(R) certification and registration
• Perform scrubbing procedures for cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Assist with pacemaker (PPM) device implantations and procedures
• Operate imaging equipment during catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients through EPIC Cupid and MAC lab systems when applicable
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule
• Participate in call rotation every third weekend
• Cover two days of call per week unless working weekend call
• Complete required Trinity training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Maintain compliance with Trinity OFAC and reporting requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain current immunization requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete annual tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo color vision testing and physical/health statement requirements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and continuing education requirements
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
