Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic CT procedures in a safe manner following American Registry of Radiologic Technology guidelines • Operate GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment for imaging procedures • Provide patient care services with outpatient focus requiring IV skills • Perform CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis with and without contrast • Administer and prepare contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture procedures • Conduct specialized CT procedures including vascular CTA, coronary CTA, and trauma imaging • Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection and volume rendering • Utilize multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurement (ROI) • Complete CT procedures for emergency department and trauma level II patients • Perform specialized studies including myelography, CT arthrography, and enterography • Conduct biopsies, drainages, and aspirations under CT guidance • Maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions • Document procedures using Epic charting system • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Float between facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (up to 8 hours non-billable) • Maintain current BLS certification within 90 days of hire • Maintain valid Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure in radiography and CT • Maintain ARRT registration in radiography and CT • Provide minimum of one supervisory reference with relevant experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
