Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 2x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Dallas, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate state of the art MRI equipment and computer systems, film processors, and other technical supportive devices
• Perform MRI imaging procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation and record keeping
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• Hold current registration with ARRT in MRI or AMRIT certification
• Maintain valid Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license as a licensed MRI practitioner
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (non-billable, up to 8 hours)
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills with appropriate manner, conduct and grooming
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information, personnel matters, and other confidential information
• Perform various imaging procedures including trauma cases, contrast studies, and specialized examinations
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection prevention procedures
• Work Saturday/Sunday schedule as assigned
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media when required
• Utilize PACS system for image management and storage
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
