Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform catheterization laboratory procedures including coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures • Conduct peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures • Assist with permanent pacemaker insertions • Maintain ARRT certification and California Fluoroscopy Permit • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Perform accurate hemodynamic monitoring during procedures • Set up and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment • Maintain sterile field and scrub for procedures • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Assist with cardiac stent placement and angioplasty procedures • Support electrophysiology procedures and device insertions • Manage inventory and stock supplies for the catheterization laboratory • Participate in call coverage up to 4 days per week as needed • Work up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Complete 30 hours of orientation training • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for patient care • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Maintain valid California state licensure
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
