Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine outpatient radiographic examinations
• Conduct portable radiography on inpatients, Emergency department and post-surgical patients
• Perform fluoroscopy procedures including lumbar punctures, barium studies (swallows, barium enemas), and joint injections
• Operate C-arms and O-arm equipment in surgical suites
• Support neurosurgery, orthopedic, vascular, and urology procedures
• Provide radiographic services for all patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Maintain current ARRT R and BLS certifications
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Work 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule (Tuesday night through Wednesday night)
• Work every other weekend as required
• Complete 80 hours of orientation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours, non-billable)
• Self-report time spent on training modules with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Be prepared to float within the facility as needed
• Complete compliance documentation by Monday prior to start date
• Adhere to facility policies and scheduling requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
