Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures and imaging services
• Maintain current ARRT registration and state licensure
• Obtain and maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Float between units as needed, particularly between IR and X-ray departments
• Take on-call responsibilities 7-15 days per month including at least 1 night per week and every 4th weekend
• Provide patient care for all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform angiography procedures including carotid, renal, and pelvic angiography
• Assist with angioplasty and stent placement procedures
• Support central venous access procedures including PICC lines and port placement
• Participate in embolization and thrombectomy procedures
• Maintain sterile field and perform room circulation duties
• Prepare access sites for procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and PACS systems
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment
• Complete compliance documentation by deadline
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Maintain flexibility for floating within the facility
• Follow facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
