Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician - OB/GYN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Bad Axe, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services including all procedures and skills
• Work clinic hours 8am-5pm Tuesday through Thursday
• Provide 24/7 call coverage from 7am Friday to 7am Friday every other week
• Perform scheduled cesarean sections and sterilization procedures
• Manage average of 20 patients in clinic and 25 deliveries per month
• Collaborate with 1 NP or Midwife in office setting
• Work with clinic supervisor, 2 patient access staff, and medical assistants
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Clock in/out using DocTime system for reverse billing requirements
• Complete required employee health requirements including vaccinations and testing
• Maintain Board Certification in OB/GYN
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Maintain valid state licensure and DEA registration
• Complete facility credentialing process with clean background verification
• Adhere to travel and expense policy limitations
• Be available to start in September with ongoing coverage needs
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
