Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures for various anatomical regions including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis without and/or with contrast • Conduct specialized CT procedures such as coronary CTA, CT angiography, and trauma imaging • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures • Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs when needed • Operate CT equipment including Siemens systems and perform quality control checks • Utilize 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering • Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest measurements (ROI) • Provide imaging services for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics • Work in emergency department, acute care, and outpatient settings • Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain ALARA principles • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT registration • Comply with isolation precautions and infection control protocols • Float between affiliate hospitals and facilities as assigned • Work rotating weekends and commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules and maintain completion records
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
