Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures for various body regions including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis with and without contrast
• Conduct specialized CT procedures such as CT angiography, coronary CTA, and vascular imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as required
• Operate CT equipment including Siemens systems
• Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Complete multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurements (ROI)
• Provide patient care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Work in emergency department, acute care, and outpatient settings
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure patient safety
• Document procedures and findings using Epic charting system
• Float between affiliated hospitals as assigned
• Work rotating weekends and commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT registration
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
