Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate SpecEd - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Federal Way, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized education services for students with special needs in grades K-5
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver Resource Specialist Program (RSP) services to elementary students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring for special education students
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet individual student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Provide direct instruction in academic and functional skills
• Support students' transition between general and special education settings
• Comply with federal and state special education regulations and guidelines
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and goals
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
