Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Rotating at a leading Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform X-ray procedures including abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, and specialized imaging studies
• Conduct 30-35 exams per shift in a fast-paced environment
• Operate C-Arm equipment for OR procedures, primarily orthopedic and spine cases
• Provide radiologic services to multiple patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in various hospital units including ER, ICU, NICU, and Operating Room
• Perform bedside and portable procedures as needed
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required
• Utilize PACS system for image management and Epic charting system for documentation
• Maintain current ARRT certification, BLS certification, and valid state licensure
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Float between facilities within the state as assigned
• Work variable 4x10 shifts with self-scheduling based on seniority
• Provide weekend coverage every other weekend, with potential for additional shifts
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
